Join the St. Bernard of Clairvaux and St. Stanislaus Kostka Prayer Shawl Ministry, a group of knitters and crocheters who create shawls for sick and homebound parishioners. Prayer Shawls are hand made with love, tenderness and prayers. The Prayer Shawls are delivered to the sick by clergy and volunteers along with prayers and a card.
In an effort to help the Bridges Outreach program provide items for the homeless and sheltered in New York, Newark & Irvington we are asking the men and women of the Parish to join the Prayer Shawl Ministry in making winter scarves. It is our hope that our small gesture will warm one of the many who will be homeless or sheltered this winter.
